Panini holds a Premier League license, and Prizm Premier League is its flagship chrome set for the competition — which makes it the single most important Panini home for Bukayo Saka’s cards. This is a map, not a checklist. We won’t invent card numbers or print runs we can’t verify — instead, here’s how the set is built, what’s worth chasing, and where each tier actually trades.

Why Prizm Premier League matters for Saka

Soccer has no single stamped rookie year the way modern U.S. sports do. Collectors instead target a player’s earliest widely-distributed licensed cards — for Saka, roughly the 2019–2020 window onward, as he broke into Arsenal’s first team. Prizm Premier League is the flagship Panini set from that era and every year since, so it carries:

• His rookie-era base and Silver Prizm cards
• A deep color parallel rainbow — the defining reason collectors love Prizm

Saka’s real Prizm Premier League card numbers

Prizm Premier League isn’t a fixed checklist — Panini redraws the numbering every season, so “Saka’s Prizm card” means a different number depending on the year:

• 2020-21 Prizm Premier League #40 — the earliest Prizm Premier League base card of his we can source, from the rookie-era window as he was establishing himself in Arsenal’s first team.
• 2023-24 Prizm Premier League #27 — verified on the set’s Arsenal team checklist, alongside his Color Blast, Groovy, Kaleidoscopic and Talismen inserts.
• 2024-25 Prizm Premier League #21 — his current-era base card, with Color Blast #13, Manga #6, Prizmania #8, Sublime #6 and Prizm Flashback 2014 #25 on the same team checklist. One boundary worth knowing: Panini held the Premier League card licence from 2019-20 through 2024-25. From 2025-26 the licence is Topps’, so 2024-25 is the last real Panini Prizm Premier League season — a “2025-26 Panini Prizm Premier League” card does not exist.

That gap matters for search and for buying: if you’re hunting a specific card, confirm the season first, then the number printed on it — don’t assume a number carries across years. The base card is also where the parallel ladder below starts; the Silver, color, and numbered tiers all share the same checklist number as the base card in their release.

How the set is built (the parallel ladder)

Prizm is a parallel-driven set. Understanding the ladder is most of understanding what you’re buying:

• Base — the standard paper-finish card. Cheap, plentiful, the entry point.
• Silver Prizm — the unnumbered chromed/refracting version. Scarcer and far more desirable than base; for most modern players this is the card the market anchors on. (Panini’s “Silver Prizm” is the direct equivalent of a Topps “Refractor” — see parallels & refractors explained.)
• Unnumbered color parallels — a rainbow of colored versions (the exact color names vary by release). Scarcer than Silver by feel, not by a printed number.
• Numbered color parallels — colors with a stamped serial (e.g. /99, /25). Now you know exactly how many exist.
• Gold /10 and the top tier — the low-numbered chase cards, capped by a Black 1/1.

As you climb that ladder, scarcity and demand rise together. We don’t quote dollar figures that go stale — check the live listings below and the recent solds on eBay for anything in the numbered tiers.

What to chase, by budget

• Starter: a raw base or Silver Prizm from his rookie-era window. The Silver is the sweet spot — real chrome, real scarcity, still attainable.
• Mid: an unnumbered or higher-numbered color parallel in a clean grade, or a PSA/SGC-graded Silver.
• Trophy: a low-numbered color, Gold /10, or an autograph. Buy these graded — condition and authenticity risk are too high raw at this level.
