Panini Select & Mosaic: What Actually Exists for Bukayo Saka

Panini’s Select is one of the chromium lines that sits in the middle-to-premium band of the soccer hobby — above the accessible paper of Donruss and alongside the flagship Prizm Premier League. Mosaic shares the same Panini chrome DNA but had a shorter, patchier soccer run, and the one Mosaic card of Saka we can source is not the one most listings claim. This page separates the two honestly, because a lot of what circulates online about them is wrong.

First, the correction: “Mosaic Premier League” is not where Saka’s Mosaic card lives

Saka’s catalogued Mosaic card is 2021 Panini Mosaic UEFA Euro 2020 #106 — a real card, from a real pre-transition Panini Euro product, and the only Mosaic Saka we can source to a published checklist. If a listing offers you a “Saka Mosaic Premier League” card, read the card itself before you buy: in every case we have been able to check, the card in the photo is the Euro 2020 #106 or a Select Premier League card described loosely.

Two things we can state firmly. Panini’s Premier League products under its 2019-20 → 2024-25 licence were Prizm Premier League, Select Premier League, Score Premier League and Impeccable Premier League — those are the domestic-league lines to shop for him. And from 2025-26 the Premier League card licence moved to Topps, so any Panini Premier League product dated 2025-26 or later is not a real release.

What we will not tell you is that Panini has never printed a Mosaic Premier League set at all. Panini did run Mosaic as per-league soccer releases in the 2020–22 window — Mosaic La Liga was first issued in 2020-21 — so the brand is not tournament-only, and the checklist databases we can reach only index 2022 onward, which means a pre-2022 Premier League edition can be neither confirmed nor ruled out from here. Saka is not on any Mosaic Premier League checklist we can source; that is a statement about our sourcing, not proof the set was never made.

Panini Select: the three-tier chrome

Select’s defining trait is that its base checklist is split into tiers, and in soccer the tiers are defined by card-number band:

• Terrace — roughly #1–100. The common entry tier.
• Mezzanine — roughly #101–200. The mid tier, scarcer than Terrace.
• Field Level — #201–250. The top tier and the scarce base chase.

Those bands are the ones printed on the published 2024-25 Panini Select Premier League checklist, which also carries Saka at Terrace #32 and Field Level #201.

(“Concourse” and “Premier Level” are the tier names Select uses in basketball — they do not appear on soccer Select. If a listing uses them for a soccer card, the seller has copied the wrong set’s vocabulary.)

On top of the tier structure sits a full colored-Prizm rainbow — unnumbered colors, then numbered colors climbing through Pink /25, Gold /10 and Green /5 to a Black 1/1.

Saka’s verified Select card numbers

His Select inserts are documented too: Select Stars #2, Stained Glass #5 and Visionary #4 in 2023-24 Select Premier League; Stained Glass #1, Equalizers #10 and Artistic Impressions #20 in 2024-25 Select Premier League.

Card numbers reset every release and do not carry between the Premier League and FIFA lines — always pair the year, the product and the number.

Panini Mosaic: the patterned chrome (and where Saka’s actually is)

Mosaic takes a chromium base and adds its signature mosaic pattern finish, then builds a colored-Prizm rainbow on top of it:

• Base mosaic — the standard chrome card; the accessible entry point.
• Unnumbered colored Prizms — a rainbow of colors (names vary by release), scarcer than base by feel rather than a printed number.
• Numbered colors — colors with a stamped serial (e.g. /99, /25), so you know exactly how many exist.
• Top tier — the low-numbered chase cards, capped by a 1/1.

Autographs: where his signatures actually are

We can’t find a Bukayo Saka autograph on any Select Premier League checklist. His verified signed cards are:

What to chase, by budget

• Starter: a raw Select Terrace base (his 2024-25 Select Premier League #32) or the Mosaic UEFA Euro 2020 #106 — the cheapest legitimate way into a Saka Select or Mosaic card.
• Mid: an unnumbered colored Prizm in a clean grade, a Field Level card, or a PSA/SGC-graded base.
